Who We Are

FreeKitchen.org provides kitchen damage inspections, restoration, reconstruction, and remodeling services to homeowners in select areas of South Carolina and North Carolina. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you submit an inspection or contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, property address or ZIP code, and details about your kitchen and the issue you noticed (for example, whether you are the homeowner, whether there is a mortgage on the property, and when you first noticed the problem).

If you arrive from an online advertisement, we also record basic campaign information (such as which ad or campaign brought you to the site) so we can understand which of our advertising works.

We do not collect payment information through this website.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit to respond to your request, schedule and perform inspections, communicate with you about your project, provide our restoration and remodeling services, and comply with legal obligations.

By submitting a form, you authorize FreeKitchen.org and its service team to contact you by phone, text message, or email regarding your request. Consent is not a condition of purchase, message and data rates may apply, and you may opt out of communications at any time by replying STOP to a text, using an unsubscribe link, or contacting us at hello@freekitchen.org.

How Your Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate: our customer relationship management system (Zoho Bigin), which stores lead and project records, and our email delivery provider, which sends internal notifications about your request. These providers process your information on our behalf.

We may also disclose information when required by law, or in connection with a renovation project you have engaged us for (for example, documentation submitted to a program agency at your direction).

Advertising and the Meta Pixel

Our advertising landing pages (pages under /go) use the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising results in inquiries. The pixel may set cookies and share with Meta the fact that you visited a landing page or submitted a form, along with technical identifiers such as your IP address and browser information.

You can learn how Meta uses this data at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy, and control ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. The main pages of this website do not use the Meta Pixel or third-party analytics.

Cookies and Local Storage

This website uses a small number of functional cookies and browser storage: a cookie remembering your language preference (English or Spanish), a browser setting remembering your light/dark theme choice, and — on advertising landing pages only — Meta Pixel cookies as described above. We do not use these for profiling on our own behalf.

Data Retention

We keep lead and project records for as long as reasonably necessary to serve you, maintain business records, and meet legal, insurance, and warranty obligations. You may request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@freekitchen.org. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

Children

Our services and website are directed to homeowners and are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
